Take part in a webinar for registrants considering putting their names forward for election to the Forest Professionals BC Board.
What it Means to be an FPBC Board Member offers a clear and practical overview of what it means to serve as a board member, including the responsibilities, time commitment, and impact of board service. Learn about FPBC’s leadership-focused governance model, including six core responsibilities: providing guidance and direction, establishing organizational conduct standards, overseeing operations, protecting the integrity of FPBC, ensuring financial sustainability, and engaging with stakeholders.
The webinar also outlines the strategic relationship between the board and chief executive officer, and how board members help shape Forest Professionals BC’s long-term goals through the development and monitoring of a five-year strategic plan. Registrants will gain a strong understanding of the role, expectations, and value of serving on the FPBC Board — helping them decide if this opportunity aligns with their professional path and values.
