Registrant Competence

Registrants of the FPBC are obligated under the Professional Governance Act and FPBC Bylaws to maintain standards of competence and professional conduct.

The Audit and Practice Review Committee (APRC) policy describes and establishes requirements and criteria for competence and professional conduct audits and practice reviews of registrants, pursuant to FPBC Bylaw 2 and Bylaw 11.

These bylaws and the APRC ensure the competence and professional conduct of registrants is assessed and verified in a fair, transparent, and objective manner.

Competence Declaration

Evaluate professional competence, identify areas for improvement, and develop a Pro-D plan.

Audits

A number of registrants are selected randomly each year for a competence audit or a professional conduct audit.
