Janice Mathers, MBA, RPF
Executive Summary
Janice Mathers, MBA, RPF, has served as a Forest Professionals British Columbia (FPBC) Board member at large since 2023 and will become vice-chair.
Janice has more than 22 years of experience in the forest industry across various sectors, from industry to government, and consulting.
Janice is currently principal and general manager of StoneCroft Engineering Ltd., a consulting firm in Campbell River that designs and manages construction of bridges, roads and other infrastructure, primarily in remote areas, including in the forestry and mining sectors.
Janice previously worked in silviculture, harvest planning, cut block and road layout, marine logistics, supply chain management, log supply forecasting, safety and certification management, and production supervision, as well as on First Nations projects.
As a senior manager, Janice has experience in strategic planning and conflict resolution.
Furthermore, Janice has served on the FPBC Finance Subcommittee and ForestTrust Board, chairing both, and is part of the recognition program subcommittee.
Janice believes strongly in mentoring and supporting new professionals in the forest industry, and hopes to help Forest Professionals BC and registrants continue to navigate implementation of the Professional Governance Act.
