Learn essential field skills for environmental professionals through a new BCIT micro-credential.

Essential Field Skills for Environmental Professionals consists of five hands-on, field-based courses to help you develop the most commonly-needed skillsets for environmental professionals.

Three of the five courses are being offered to help you reach your goal of advancing your environmental careers or honing your field skills.

The 12- to 24-hour courses involve skill development in an outdoor setting, with some online introductory lessons beforehand. Field locations include BCIT Burnaby Campus, the BCIT Forest Society Woodlot 0007 (Maple Ridge) and other local parks/natural areas in the Lower Mainland.
