This module examines the foundation of Visual Resource Management (VRM): public perception of harvesting activities on forested landscapes.!
It examines key legislation and regulation, categories of Visually Altered Forest Landscapes, and how to determine the Visual Quality Objectives (VQO) for areas without a Visual Landscape Inventory (VLI). Lastly, rationale for VLI is explored.
This module also contains a glossary of key VRM terms you can use throughout the program and in your professional practice.
