Consus Management Ltd. has been established since 2009 as a distinguished resource management company with a primary office in Williams Lake, BC, and a secondary location in Vernon, BC.  We specialize in the implementation and management of various Forest Tenures, Government Funded Programs, Silviculture and Timber Development Activities, and Utilities Contracts.

Currently, Consus Management Ltd. is seeking Forest Professionals/Technicians to work in their Forestry Department. These positions will primarily be based out of our Williams Lake Office, with an expectation of office work, fieldwork and occasional camp shifts.

Senior and Intermediate Positions (2-3 Positions Available)

  • Minimum 3 years (Intermediate) Minimum 5 years (senior) experience in Silviculture or Timber development activities
  • Experience as a crew lead for senior positions is required.
  • Experience with commercial and pre-commercial incremental silviculture treatments
  • Registered or eligible for registration with Forest Professionals British Columbia (FPBC) as a RFT or RPF
  • Willing to work both in the Field and complete associated office work.
  • Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in Forestry or Related Field
  • Silviculture Survey Accreditation is preferred and compensation will reflect.
  • Possess a valid BC Driver’s License
  • Successful applicants should be physically fit to endure field work in all conditions
  • Self-Motivated and able to work unsupervised
  • Familiar with applicable Legislation and Regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Junior Technician Positions (Open)

  • Experience is preferred but not required for entry level/junior tech positions. On job training is available with an expectation of future permanent long term employment opportunities
  • Eligibility for Registration with FPBC is an asset but not required
  • Post Secondary Education in forestry or related fields preferred by not required
  • Successful applicants should be physically fit to endure field work in all conditions
  • Possess a valid BC Driver’s License
  • Self-Motivated and able to work unsupervised
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
