Ntityix Resources LP (NRLP) and Westbank First Nation’s philosophy around forest stewardship includes caring for everything in, on, and around the land – living or not. Ntityix Resources manages a Community Forest Agreement and First Nations Woodland License held by Westbank First Nation with the goal of maximizing benefits to Westbank First Nation while remaining a leader in sustainable resource management practices.
Job Description:
This position is a full-time, permanent role based in Westbank, BC.
Duties:
- Implementation of our Seven Generation Plan through field engineering/ layout of cutblocks and roads;
- Assist in the preparation of the various plans and assessments associated with cutblock development including: Riparian assessments, SP data collection, and timber cruising.
- Day to day Field crew supervision of junior staff.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Forestry or a relevant discipline.
- Registered or eligible for registration with FPBC as a RPF or RFT. FITs, ASFITs, TFTs and ASTFTs will be considered.
- 2 + years of development/layout experience. Candidates with other forestry experience will still be considered.
- Seeking an opportunity to work on First Nation owned, area-based forest tenures.

- Open-minded and passionate about natural resource stewardship.
- Hold a valid class 5 driver’s license.
- Physically fit and enjoy working outdoors.
- Basic orienteering skills

- Accountability for production, timelines, and quality of work.
Compensation:
- Salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience.
- NRLP operates 8-hour days within 40-hour work weeks – this can vary depending on the tasks being performed, priorities, and schedules.
