DWB is a dynamic, multidisciplinary consulting firm that specializes in offering a full suite of value-added environmental, engineering and forestry services to our clients in Western Canada. We are currently seeking applications Co-Op students in Civil or Forestry Engineering for our Prince George office. Candidates should have relevant formal education from an accredited school and be on track for EIT status with the EGBC in the future. This position is available immediately, and will extend through December.

As  these are field positions, you must be ready to show your tough side as you will be working long hours in remote locations, in all weather conditions. The work is physically and mentally demanding, but you will learn a lot about yourself and how to work in a team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One Season of relevant experience is preferred, but not required
• Enrolled in or graduated from a relevant forestry or engineering degree program
• Must be on track and working towards registration as an EIT with EGBC
• Passion for working outdoors
• Work well on a team
• Safe working mindset
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

YOUR ROLE:

• Construction layout of bridges, roads and other civil/structural works
• Quality control on construction projects
• Resource surveying using a total station and other equipment
