Executive Summary
Molly Hudson, RPF, RPBio, is a forestry executive with demonstrated leadership in sustainability and organizational transformation.
Molly is currently vice-resident of forestry and sustainability the Nch’kay Development Corporation, established in 2018 as the economic development arm of the Squamish Nation. Molly is responsible for supporting the Squamish Nation’s Forestry Framework, directing forestry operations for Nch’kay, which oversees and manages the forestry tenures owned by the nation, including TFL38 and two community forests.
Prior to 2024, Molly was vice-president of sustainability and chief forester for Mosaic Forest Management. She was responsible for the company’s sustainable resource management practices and specialized in forest management certifications and forestry operations, including seed orchard production, environmental performance, community relations, and fish, wildlife, and ecosystem management.
Molly started her career in forestry as a tree-planter, then worked for a forestry company on Vancouver Island before becoming a forest technician with the Ministry of Forests. She was next a timber cruiser with Recon Forest Consulting before joining TimberWest as a resource specialist in 2013. She worked her way up to stewardship and engagement manager, then in 2018 became manager of stewardship and outreach for Mosaic.
