South of Williams Lake, Alkali Resource Management, owned by the Esk’etemc (Alkali Lake) First Nation, is undertaking an adaptive management project in conjunction with FLNRORD to test hypotheses and develop new methods of managing the IDF.
This panel discussion reviews the goals of the project, the activities currently underway, what’s working and what isn’t, and tips for how forest professionals can replicate the project in their own regions.
